We’ve shared over 15 years of success stories, yet we never tire of sharing more! Mou Mary was already 10 years old when we built the first buildings and started classes in 2006. She was an excellent student and was a member of our first sixth-grade graduation in 2010. We provided a sponsor for many of the students in that class, including Mary, to make sure they had what they needed to attend middle school. 

Mary was one of five graduates from that year who not only finished middle school, but also graduated from high school. She then received assistance from a generous donor who contributed toward her college tuition, and Mary is almost completed with her college degree! 

We are proud to announce that after a rigorous interview and testing process, Mary is joining our staff as an English teaching intern. She is a wonderful example of the impact that your donations have made on the lives of hundreds of children. She is giving back to her community and hoping to provide a bright future for these students.

Did you know that one out of every three Cambodians does not have access to clean water? Because access to clean water is critical to the health of our students and their families, we are incredibly grateful for Kids Play International (KPI) and Planet Water’s initiative to bring a more permanent source of clean water to Kurata School. Through KPI’s fundraising campaign and coordination with Planet Water, KPI facilitated the construction of the new water purification system on the campus. Similar such systems are already in place at the Spitler School and Stephen Mazujian Middle School.

We continue to support the community with food distributions to the most vulnerable families, who are unable to work or generate any income. We have allocated over $10,000 to food donations and we anticipate that this need will continue.
