In 2010, Kim, a first grader at Spitler School, had severe health concerns that were almost fatal. Sarin, along with a Spitler volunteer, hurried her to a hospital just in time for life-saving surgery. After a long recovery Kim grew into a healthy young lady and this week she graduated from 6th grade. She received her brand new bicycle, a new uniform, and school supplies for her next journey into middle school. We wish all our graduates a healthy and happy future, and we are thankful that Kim will enjoy a future that she almost missed.
