Spitler School will be facing an unprecedented financial challenge during the coming school year. There is now a severe shortage of teachers in Cambodia. In order to maintain the high standards at Spitler School we will need to make significant increases to our teachers’ salaries during the coming year. While teachers’ salaries in Cambodia are very low compared to most countries there is still a significant expense in staffing two campuses with over 800 students. Teacher’s monthly salaries are currently $150 and should rise to $230 by April 2017.
